Concert &
Symphonic Band
Bowling Green high school band students participate in marching band during the fall and 1st quarter of school. Students then audition into either concert band or symphonic band. Concert and Symphonic band meet during 1st period beginning second quarter through the end of 2nd semester. Concert and symphonic band perform three concerts a year, OMEA large-group contest, OMEA solo & ensemble contest, 5th grade recruitment concert, and more.
Formal Wear
Students wear formal wear during concert season from November through May. Fittings for formal wear take place in the fall. Formal wear must be kept at the high school. Girls are provided a black dress, and will need to provide their own black dress shoes. Boys are provided a tuxedo and white shirt. Boys will need to provide black dress shoes and black socks.
